LXIV: A Long Walk Off a Short . . .

This past Saturday was quite busy. We took BART to

and did a lot of walking. It was a beautiful day, and the sights were nice . . .

The Ferry Building
Scenic sailing
The Bay Bridge
It got warm, so I opened my coat.
Eventually we came to

A good view of Alcatraz from there:

And a somewhat hazier one of the Golden Gate that day:

Certainly no such visit is complete without going to look at some sea lions.

I honestly don't see the appeal, but John liked them.
Also, a jellyfish.

There is a merry-go-round (or carousel as some prefer). She does seem to enjoy those rather much.

You can't see it here, but she was riding a giant rabbit.
A lot of eating, too. Here we are at a café

I have another of us at the Hard Rock but she won't let me post it because she doesn't like how she looks in it.

There was an odd little arbor, too . . . A kind of playhouse made of vines growing around a wire frame . . .

On the whole, a good if tiring day. As the weather improves, I anticipate ever more outings. Stay tuned.
